Dan Tobin Smith - Alphabet Series 2007

Incredible still-life photography of intricate pieces of art created from various media. In Smith’s Alphabet Series the use of a bold and familiar letter photographed from afar creates striking images but examined closely reveal an even more familiar and intriguing assembly of common products and materials. Although they seem photoshopped, these works of art are meticulously done by hand.
